THE ART OF SOUND RECORDING: AUDIO ENGINEER COURSE

Our most popular and longest running course on audio engineering teaches anyone the fundamental principles of recording & mixing within ALL genres! Our 10-week audio engineer course The Art of Sound Recording is designed for beginners or intermediate engineers to receive a hands-on education in contemporary music recording techniques via the practical application of EQs, dynamics, signal routing, large format consoles, microphones, acoustics, and much, much more!

This course is offered as Both 1-on-1 and group instruction.

The Essentials of hip hop: Audio engineering course

Our newest course in audio engineering teaches anyone how to effectively record, edit, tune, mix and master music specifically within today’s modern hip hop music! As a student in our 10-week, hands-on audio engineer course The Essentials of Hip Hop you will learn the hardcore basics and gain practical experience in Pro Tools and on professional-level consoles so you are able to to effectively and successfully run a 2-track and stem based session with some of our favorites artists from start to finish!

DOLBY ATMOS: ELEVATED

Learn how to mix and master 360-degree spatial audio in our 6-week course, Dolby ATMOS: Elevated. Inside Florida's most immersive studio room designed for out-of-this-world 7.2.4 Dolby ATMOS mixing, students will transform songs into true 3D audio revealing depth, clarity and detail so the listener feels as if they were completely immersed inside the music! Students will learn theory, configuration, audio placement and engage in over 36 hours of hands-on experience to provide spatial audio deliverables required by DSP. Designed for both beginner or intermediate producers, our goal is to provide the ability for producers to create songs, obtain placements and establish themselves as competitive producers of popular music within today's music industry!

PRO TOOLS 101: FUNDAMENTALS OF PRO TOOLS

Pro Tools is the standard digital audio workstation that absolutely dominates the recording industry! This stable platform produces the highest-quality digital music recordings in the business... but it is not simple to use. Learn the in’s and outs of our go-to digital audio workstation in Pro Tools 101! Our 5-week and 10-week courses introduce fundamental Pro Tools concepts and principles for beginners to learn how to build sessions for multi-track recordings of live audio, midi sequences and virtual instruments!

If you want to make pro music, you can’t have out-of-tune vocals. Learn how to tighten up your vocals by learning how to use Melodyne in our iTuneIT: Melodyne Workshop! In any genre of music, Melodyne can tune your vocals to whatever degree you want, from subtle to polished to obvious. Our 5-hour, hands-on workshop will teach anyone with basic music theory knowledge how to use this technical tool to manipulate the pitch of vocals and make take your songs to pro, radio ready status!

THE MIX CLASS: ANALOG

Further your knowledge in Rock & Alt Rock mixing in our 8-week course, The Mix Class: Analog Advanced Course! As a student, you will analyze some of the greatest mixes of all time, dissect the elements that helped make these songs masterpieces and then physically apply these concepts in our best mixing room on a real SSL console - the industry standard analog mixing console for all genres of modern music!
